Chowder Bowl in Depoe Bay

First off let me say, the name of this place reflects exactly what you are going to get! The Chowder was definitely delicious I should have ordered a bowl and some to go!!! Not only was the Chowder amazing, so was the patty melt and seafood platter!!! To go along with such great food the service was A1!!! Great Job Chowder Bowl 🤙🙌

They should have a sign outside that says whites only. Thanks Stacy for letting me travel back to the 1960s. Wait we don't have time machines its still 2020. Seriously she went out of her way to make sure all whites have been help. Even tho there was one family sitting down at our time of arrival. Ignore us until I said something. Then she stated we have to help all seated orders first. Stacy didn't know if wanted to go or eat inside. She never asked us to find out or offer seat. When the sign says wait to be seated. Best part I am multicultural black and white parents, and my dad is a vet. I am sure he fought for America. To make sure we still can't be treated fairly.

Good food and Kim is probably the biggest person on the planet! The chowder is my favorite!

We always stop here if we are in the area. Fantastic food and customer service. Bravo once again! Looking forward to next time.

Had the chowder bowl. I never post reviews but this dish is not good. Chowder tastes like they use powdered milk. Bread bowl (not sourdough) tastes of old grill grease. Still gave a 50% gratuity

We had lunch at the Chowder Bowl today. Great seafood, clam chowder, fish and chips. Owners and staff were awesome!! It’s a place you need to visit when you go to the Oregon coast. We will be back 😋

Oh goodness! What a wonderful place! We ate here while shopping in Depot Bay. The foods was SO good! Service was beyond wonderful! Our 5 mo old grandson was NOT happy about much of anything :) and we were all just cold and hungry. The owner of the restaurant picked him up and entertained him with the train that makes loops around the restaurant, trinkets on the wall, and even sent him home with a train whistle! Talk about feeling loved on! THAT is customer service. What a sweet, family owned business! I love support local business #shoplocal and loved the atmosphere here. It's a MUST GO in my opinion! Besides...the chowder...OH MY!!!

Best service I've had in years for take out here. Unfortunately it ends there. No way in this universe could anybody rate the raw uncooked, flour based chowder good. The recipe has changed and to be named Chowder Bowl it should be great. Seriously, I looked forward to grubbing on it. ☹️

Delicious, rich chowder. Great customer service. What more could you want? We weren't expecting what we got, we were just stopping to eat somewhere, and ran into this gem. Yum!

My husband and I stopped here to eat for our anniversary and we loved it. It's such a cute little Seafood shack. You could look out the window right at the ocean. The food was delicious and not pricey. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was real laid back. I would definitely recommend it. I know we will definitely be going back

Great food. Sauteed scallops are amazing. So is the garlic bread, cod, and fries. Great service. Also the chowder is perfect

What an amazing little restaurant!! So many friendly waiters and of course amazing food! Such delicious fish and chips! And the clam chowder is warming! You will not regret dropping in for lunch! I highly suggest if you are in town!!!

Solid choice to eat in Depoe Bay. Food is fresh tasty portions are large. Price is very reasonable. Staff is super friendly. Get the oyster stew. You can't go wrong with this choice.

Good fish and chips. Batter dipped fries. Garlic bread. Tarter sauce was good too. Friendly staff.

Word on the street this place had good chowder. They even advertise it. NOT!! Thnkfully I got my order to go. Because at least the rats at the dumpster had something to eat. Sorry rats:( Don't waste your time or money here. I hope the tourist dont judge us on this gross restaurant. Dirty smells

If you like fried food and no wait to be seated this might be an OK place for an overpriced mediocre meal. But definitely check out the Devil's Punch Bowl in the area.

This is my favorite place on the coast I have been going here for approximately 20 years I absolutely love it, Food exceptional people really warm and friendly. I'll drive extra to eat here
